Chinese Language Week

Ni hao bloggers,
Did you know it is Chinese Language week? As you know I was extremely busy I got a day of. So we got time to learn. We learned about Great Wall of China. This is what I learned...

  • It is barely seen from the space
  • Many people died making Great Wall of China
  • Many parts of Great Wall of China have broke
  • It was made more than 2,000 years ago
I have a question how many people died making the Great Wall of China?

It's Time!

Hello Blogging world,

Today is our matinee performance! Over the past 10 weeks we were practicing for our show. I'm nervous, but also excited. This is my first performance.

Our school invited other schools from Mt Roskill to come to our show. I'm happy because the tickets are sold out.

Me and my friends have a big responsibility because we are crew. In that we have to make sure that every thing is perfect. We are also the runners in that we have to call the groups. So makes the show running.

poem

Hello Bloggers,
Mrs Butler came to our class and told us to do some did you ever question . This is an example of Mrs Butler. I'll show you mine writing.

Mrs Butler came in to work with us yesterday. we looked at a poem called '' Did you ever?'' by Nathan reed.

Did you ever
go to a zoo?
Animals shouting
People observing
Creatures hiding
I love it.

Did you ever
go to a beach alone?
People diving
Humans swimming
I like it

Did you ever
got lost in a crowd?
Heart pounding
Eyes crying
People pushing
I loathe it

Where the wild things are -Written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak

The wild things have vibrant, yellow terrible eyes that are staring at Max - the emperor of the wild things. His claws are razor sharp. He has a tail which is fluffy and black. A nose that's triangular  shaped. He is swinging on the forest branches.

Gary told us to make paper airplane and we threw them they all landed in different places and there is a photo down. Marae trip to Lynfield College

Hello bloggers

Last Friday we went to Lynfield College for a marae visit and I did some writing and down here is my writing. Please give me some feedback

   Marae trip to Lynfield College
Last friday we went to Lynfield College for marae visit because it was matariki. When we entered some of the Lynfield College students were doing the haka. When they were finished the haka we sat on chairs but some of the Hay Park students couldn’t sit because there was no space for them to sit so they sat down on the mat. Then Papa Jarrod talked something in Maori but we couldn’t understand but some people who are Maori they could understand. In the haka we learned that haka are war dances then we did the haka.
